people at a roundtable

In January 2024, Enabel participated with Team Belgium, led by the Special Envoy for Migration and Asylum, in the 14th Global Forum on Migration and Development. With the aim of deepening some of the themes that make up its range of expertise and making a positive contribution to the debates, the Belgian Development Agency organised two parallel events on (1) The workforce of the future. International Skills Partnerships for a Just and Green Transition (in collaboration with the Global Organisation on Migration – IOM) and (2) Engaged Diasporas: Catalysts of Development. Prospects and initiatives from North and West Africa.

The main achievements and lessons learned from these two sessions have been brought together in these two communication notes.
